Ascents in London Wall having Beta

Wow, world class route, fun experience, need to improve at finger cracks if I wanna come back and get this done.

Very hard start. Very hard finish. Just hard. Love it though. Fell from the last crack moves. I’ll be back..,

Had a play. Start is hard. Top moves tough too.

Took me a few goes to figure out beta for the start. I should really learn to read routes quicker. Brilliant climb, not exactly easy.

Well I was never going to send, but im glad i touched the holds. Bloody painful ice skating, beautiful line

Really lovely bridging and movement. Quite nervy if its at your grade, but that adds a nice flutter

Nice position and decent moves. Gear is for the bold, not recommended at your grade.

Beautiful climb! Great jamming, requires a bit of thought. Gear is no problem.

Nice corner crack. Well worth a go. Nice and long

Nice jamming, shame it's over so quickly

Way painful. The upper 2/3 was good due to footers, the bottom crack before you move left mashed my poor fingers. Meant to be classic, but too painful for me.

Tried putting the gear up for Dana but decide that if would freak her out and suggested she second Paul. Fun steep corner climbing with a hard mantel at the start and some powerful moves up higher. Steeper then it looks.

Flashed on Jengas gear. Tough gatekeeper mantle, then interesting all the way. Steeper than it looks! Gear is adequate, though non-existent at the top.

More challenging than it looks with some interestingly tricky face moves on bomb-proof gear. There's a reason this route is rated as a classic in the guide!

Nice one Jammy jam a lot. Lead placing gear after giving Paul a catch, pretty straight forward climb with one tricky spot. Rapped off a bit block up top.

Finally.

Still found the narrowing bit hard. Encouraged when climbing legend Al Burgess comes over and tells me he finds that bit hard too.

And I thought I could jam, usual trouble stuffing big hands in too small a crack. More climbing required, then I will lead it.

Hard start leading to some great corner climbing.

Great hand jamming that ends all too soon.

A little polished but still enjoyable. Big gear is useful.

Many Attempts over two or three days. Very happy that I climbed this Route in my life.

What it lacks in difficulty it more than makes up for in spectacularness!
