Routes in The Outback for selected grade

The most well bolted route in Joshua Tree? A little bit of everything from tricky lie backing to face climbing to jugging out a roof. Very nice.

Climb the tenuous slab past one bolt to some bouldery crack climbing and some glorious vertical hands above. Doesn’t get much better. Take extra #2-4 cams for the top as it’s otherwise very slim pickings for an anchor.

Classic of the area. A dyno (only reachy for some) with a bad sloping landing filled with cobbles. Feels a lot easier than most V3 in JTree if you have the reach to do it static

Start to the left of False Hueco and head up using a rail, crimps, and knobs.
