Super nice route. I had to pull over the crux move using the QuickDraw right after the big hole above the crag. But possibly I would go a bit right for doing the crux. Very powerful nice moves. A blue cam can be placed in the hole before the crux. Possibly makes it less scary. Left to it there is a 12a (when you traverse left before the crux). I want to try that one when I am back in Smith rock.

First try was good: climbed up from the ground to the 6th draw and clipped it, then fell. Then climbed from the 5th draw up to the anchor. Fell again at the same place in the second try, but feeling already quite a bit more pumped than before.

I arrived at the crux already feeling not so fresh anymore after it took me a lot of time to place gear in the irregular crack below. As it turned out, the crux is also hard and technical, so it's very unlikely I could have onsighted it. Skipped the crux using the quickdraw in order to be faster as we only had half a day of climbing, but it would definitely be worth going back to this one.

Since I wasn't sure I was going to send Churning in the Wake, I decided to go back to this one where I was relatively confident that I could do it within a few tries. Had to rest once while putting in the quickdraws, sent it next try. This is really an amazing and very long quality line.

Next to the finger crack there are some creat footholds in the dihedral. This makes it easy. Well protectable pitch but long! 	5.11b Hard	★★ Monkey Space - with Klara R 1 5.11a Sport lead by Fabian Michel This was definitely the best pitch of the day. It's a traverse to the left in the red part of the tower. Some difficult cruxy moves up a small bulge. 2 5.11b Sport lead by Fabian Michel Would be a nicer pitch without the very real danger of falling onto the belay ledge if you fall before clipping one of the first four quickdraws (it's a kind of overhanging traverse going up and left). There are two additional bolts to the right of the line which I used to reach the upper part without the danger of falling onto the ledge.	Sport	★★ Very Good	Fabian Michel
Nice (but short) sport route through the red rock on the tower. From the top of the tower, we did a rather adventurous rappel down the mouth where the Panic Point pitch starts, but I'm not sure if we would have reached the anchor we were aiming for if the people at the belay in the mouth wouldn't have caught our rope and dragged us toward the wall so I could clip one of the bolts in the mouth in order to stay closer to the wall.

Really nice route over two short roofs and otherwise on a vertical to slightly slabby wall. Decided to do the second try on toprope because my skin hurt. In the first half, almost every move felt like I had to let go because it hurt, on the second half, I had somehow adjusted and didn't feel the pain anymore.

Actually very nice hand crack. The last part involves some down climbing to the anchor. Which feels a bit weird when following. I felt super cold so I said take 2 times. But actually there is good rests and it's a very nice crack route.

Super nice extension of Heinous Cling. But very hard. The crux moves are going left with very high feet on very bad holds. Could not do all the moves in the crux on first try. Runout at the top where you need to traverse left to the anchor of the route next left to it and then go right again. Above the first crux there is a dynamic move to a jug which I could do when placing the feet while sitting in the rope .

Two more tries today. In first try I had to get the beta in again. I did not remember much from yesterday. Then I sent it . Super proud because it involves some big bolt distances and a dynamic move to a good ledge. Before that is very nice climbing on good and not so good pockets (finger holes) and crimps.

Hard for the grade, but easier than Chain Reaction, at least for me. Definitely doable, but I didn't have enough body tension in the crux after all the climbing below. Only did it with two rests, one after falling in the crux move, and then one at the committing dynamic move above where I wasn't motivated enough after I had already fallen.

Great route! The bolt distances are far, for me it felt scary especially from 5th to 6th QuickDraw. Would definitely recommend to stick clip the first bolt. It looks easy but it's not that easy. Goes up a flake system (quite pumpy) But has a good rest on top of it. The crux is super nice on small crimps and rather bad holds. The top is still challenging since the holds not not get better. Needed 6 tries in total

Felt like the hardest 5.12c I tried so far, I did it in single moves and had to fight for most moves after the second quickdraw. You have to bump up the right hand on an arête and then somehow avoid barn dooring out of the wall, which I found extremely hard. After a couple of hard moves, it gets slightly easier. There is a far move with the left hand to a jug over the lip of the roof and then a jump to a jug on the right (it's possible to do it with at least the left foot staying on the wall, but I only managed it by cutting loose completely). The jump is okay when you've had a rest but after climbing the crux below it's going to be quite hard. Short route, but quite a lot of hard moves in a row.

Put in a .4 and .5 cam before the first bolt because the bolt is quite high. There is a clear crux move for me: bumping the left hand with bad feet to an absolute jug. The crux is quite high above the last bolt, but the fall is safe.

First day in Smith this year, can't believe I didn't do this one last year. Incredibly fun, and a bit scary for the grade. I can't think of a better climb anywhere as a first pitch of the day, less of a warm up and more of just an enjoyable way to start a day. Resisted the urge to kneebar 35 times because I had shorts on.
