Grade Route Gear style Popularity Crag

5.8 Rorschach Inkblot Test

Very hard start for the grade. This would be a demoralizing climb for someone whose tope grade is 5.8 or 5.9.

Sport 15m, 5 Red River Gorge
5.10a Monobrow

Fantastic arrete slab climb. Very smooth.

Sport 15m, 5 Red River Gorge
5.12a Cork Eye
Sport 17m, 7 Red River Gorge
5.12a Lobster Claw
Sport 17m, 7 Red River Gorge
5.9 Days of Thunder

A key foot hold in the crux broke off some time ago. The sloper crux is probably 10+ now and clipping the crux bolt is very hard.

FA: Jeff Neal & Matt Jones

Sport 21m, 9 Red River Gorge
5.11a Tourette Syndrome

Climb the face of a large flake though some pockets and crimps trying to avoid the manky holds near the crack. Gain a dirty ledge and pull the roof and climb straight up. After an okay rest on decent pocket and sloper, trend left and up to the chains.

FA: Sarah Gross & Tim Kuhn, 2014

Sport 23m, 9 Red River Gorge
5.10d Ultimate Rival

Start left of a small dihedral and climb past 4 bolts to a no-hands rest at a break in the cliff. Clip the 5th bolt and pull the roof using crimps, pockets, and a decent right foot hidden in some manky looking rock. Clip the 6th bolt after pulling onto the roof and keep it together on decent edges and pockets to the chains.
