Ascents in World by Christer Honoré-Livermore

Did one hang-dog go. Tried a bit on the crux, but couldn't do all the moves. Finally skipped past it, and managed to climb to the anchor.

Finally I did it, after five(?) sessions on the route over two years. My first of the grade, and an incredible route. Fun to try and fun to send!

Took me two sessions (four tries in total) to do this, and I can't say that I think it is more than a 7c. However, it is really cool and has a very defined but easily readable crux. Clipping the bolt on the lip is the mental crux though.

I finally sent this one, after about ten sessions and probably more than 30 attempts on the route. It was harder than expected to put it all together.

Repeat; it's been a while since last time. Great to do the whole route again without falling off at the top.

Another session on this great route. Had four goes; got to the top jug on three of them.

Had one go with some hanging, to figure out the top part. Managed to pull through to the anchor in the end.

Had a few hang-dog attempts to work out the crux sequence. Was able to do all moves (some sequences as well), but not all together. Was able to go from the last hard move and to the top without break as well (first time I have tried the top part).

Had one go with lots of hanging and several attempts on the crux. Managed to go from the rest and all the way to matching the crimps before falling, so it's progress.

Tried three times, made it quite easily to the top crux on the second go. No send today though.

Three- four attempts - no send. Came quite close though.

Four new attempts today, with three falls above the top jug. No send though - have to come back stronger!

Four tries on the route (plus a couple of false starts). Got past the top jug on all attempts, but couldn't get past the last few crimps after that.

First time on the route; had two tries. One hang-dog/clipstick go to figure out the top section, and one proper go where I made it past the roof before falling. Very cool route, and not as scary around the top as I first thought.

Had four goes today, but no send. Mostly fell 1-2 moves after the last jug-rest.

3-4 new tries. New high point - came 1-2 moves past the left crimp after the rest.

Three news goes today. Some modified beta details and new high point (almost made it!)

3-4 new goes. Came very close to the top with beta adjustment on the first crux and some adjustments in the top section.

Had six-seven attempts, did all parts but was too pumped to do it all.

Three good attempts, but no send. Have to come back for this one some other time.

Had four attempts today, and got to the last jug without rest on all of them. Fell on the crimps after that, but made it to the anchor after a rest on two of the attempts.

One trip up the wall, trying a bit at the start of the crux, but couldn't get far today.

Had two trips up the route, and tried the start of the crux a few times, but fell before I could reach the flake every time.

Had two working attempts. Did the first part easily, but could not get past the top crux even after several hangs.

Had some hang dog and toprope attempts with Dag. Felt hard!

Had another 2-3 goes on this today, but finally on toprope so I could try the top more comfortably. Was able to piece together some things, but not all the moves. Still some work to be done, for sure.

Had one go where I tried working on the first part of the crux again. Could not get very far, unfortunately.

One go, with some progress on the first part of the crux, up to the flake.

Finally did this, after several sessions this year and last. Bouldery and dynamic crux.

On the fifth try I managed to not fall off on the top traverse. Pumpy but a lot of fun.

Sent it on the first go of the day, with a kneepad I borrowed from a friend. Gave me just enough rest to keep going afterwards.

Second go! Very happy to send this route today.

Great and pumpy route! A lot of fun sections. Four attempts in total.

Was hanging a few times, before figuring out the crux section and continuing to the top.

Had one go on toprope with some hanging. Have to come back with a kneepad on sometime. Pumpy route!

Had one attempt on draws that were already up. Stopped a few clips from the top.

Had a couple of tries on the first pitch, but could not get up past the first roof this time.

Three attempts today; made it to the kneebar on two of them. Getting closer!

Tried once, hanging around at the crux for a while before giving up. Need to try again when someone with a beta is around.

Had two goes on this route with several hangs, in order to figure out the various parts. Still heavy, and still hard and painful to get the kneebar to work.

Trying to work through the roof crux, but couldn't do it this time either.

Had two attempts up this route. Had to clipstick past the lip in the end, before I managed to do all the single moves. Quite burly and tricky.

Had one go with a few hangs at the crux. Did the rest of the route without hanging.

One go with many rests. Did not get to the top - too pumped.

Hard and tricky start, but the rest is rather fun.
