This is the harder, sit start variation of the V5 Termite Be Your Last Step. This climb is a project and has yet to be sent.

Very sharp slab with a slightly positive incline. Incredibly small holds and bad footholds. All side pulls to the right of the holds are out-of-bounds, see photo below.

Start sitting on the small rock beneath the boulder and pull up off the ground on the left-hand side pull and the right-hand three-finger sloper, as shown in the beta photo.

First move is a big, right hand throw to a small crimp (Crux move). Then left hand to the small, sharp crimp above your right hand, chalked intermediates can be seen in the photo. Then right hand to the wide sloper pinch directly above and bring your feet up. Right foot high, stand up, reach for the left hand side pull and lean back on it. Crank in with the left and find a good, wide sloper above and then top.

Sit start on low, obvious rail. The first move off the rail is the trickiest. Awkward transition to then traverse up and right to the exit.

A great, complex problem up the centre of the boulder. Start matched on the good blocky rail low down and work your way up and slightly right, establishing on an undercling and sidepull before a big move to the top. A tricky topout still follows, but the holds are there.

Right of Rooster Tail. Sit-start on the lowest possible holds. Very hard first move (crux), to get to a better hold out left. Straight up from there.

Start matched on standing height on a bad sloping edge, dyno left to good hold.

This problem starts just right of the middle of this side of the boulder more or less facing the Barn. Start on two flat edges and move up far right to the large pocket. The pocket is very sharp copious taping is suggested before lunging for it.

Goes straight up from the rail between The Ludus and Ludic Fallacy. The choss between the boulder and the ground is obviously off route.

Up to the level of Rapscallion La Codge, use its chains to lower off. This route is manufactured.

Composite route. Do Bigfoot and continue up Paws. At the last bolt on Paws head right through the top of Mama Africa past the chains of Sid Vicious to the top of The Quickening.

Very height dependent

Think I agree with initial consensus of 29. Contender for best at this grade I've done in the cape. Quite brutal yet delicate 7A-ish start to a good rest, followed by some pumpy monkey business and another desperate mid crux. Then some fun throws to a final delicate slab crux right below the chains. Although tempting, I stuck left at the end as per bolter's intention, avoiding the cop-out jug exit. Face/slab to the left of "Imagine".

Sit-start with flake, climb up right and finish up the high crack. This route was bolted by someone after the FA (boulder problem at 7a+).

Turn right at the second bolt of A Bronx Tale and continues until the intersection with The Baseball Bat Treatment, finishing with the latter's crux.

Climbs and clips the first three bolt and first crux of "The Pressing Romance" then brakes out hard right cross the chossy looking gully. The rock is solid despite how it looks and finishes with a red point crux as the last move. Thanks Colin for the belay and fun afternoon - Clinton Martinengo
