省政府岩壁位于贵阳市市区内，因岩壁在省政府后面并路过省政府而得名。岩壁朝向东南，一天中只有上午时间阳光直射，中午后不晒，岩壁下方宽阔并有凉亭可以休息和避雨。岩壁角度为直角和仰角，下雨天部份岩壁区域不会被雨水淋湿，该岩壁目前共有线路7条，难度级别为5.9至5.12b。

从贵阳火车站出来坐2路公交车到大西门站下转乘14路、15路公交车至市北路站下车后，步行通过省政府后门去贵州迎宾馆（可看到岩壁），岩壁位于贵州迎宾馆后面（需绕过贵州省人大干部培训中心后面的网球场篮球场方可到达）。注：2路、14路、15路公交车车费均是1元，如果乘坐出租车大概费用要10至15元左右。
