Attempted while passing through on holiday; thought it was the v5 in glass slipper cave and had a go. During the first few moves I thought 'this is not "Fun tensiony climbing up pleasant holds" as described' — ha. Far out of my league but great to see a beautiful crag.

Worked the jump move from feet on quite a bit and then how to get the match, was feeling somewhat positive until i sat down to actually go for the jump..... then decided this climb is just not for me (big sook basically)

Got through the hard bits, chickened out at the top with no spot

Not very straightforward. A bit heady and hard in summer conditions. Cane down before the jump.

Tried and struggled. Not a great day for me. Spooge level was pretty high.

Lost my nerve (for the dogfest) after breaking some rock with a big cam. On the plus side I successfully stick-placed and stick-retrieved a cam. Might try this again with more padding and more big cams.

nope. but the only chance i have at climbing my age so time to get to work.

where does everyone else start and did you just protect it with pads while its a chimney before you can get a 6 in?

Quite dirty needs a going over with a wire brush. Cool technical climbing that I was really psyched on until I hit the break above the 5th bolt expecting to find a jug instead it was a sloper so I bailed, had it been a good hold I would’ve been more inspired to keep at it.

I was hoping to give this a good play tonite but it was very wet, and we were very weak. I don't think it's worth the long drive, wet walk in and leachs but maybe we are just soft.

Had to quit early, despite getting reasonably close with interesting beta that involved a high left foot, my index finger started bleeding because of those sharp crimps! Maybe next time..

Climbed half a meter from the top and went blank, downclimbed the rest 😥

Wow! The moves on this are super nice and (at least based on where I got up to) nothing particularly difficult - just a lot of them! Maybe people were not telling lies when they said it is three 25s in a row!

Nails

Plan was to do first 4 pitches of air Malta but we were so excited to see shiny hangers up good rock we jumped on this by mistake.. It seemed a little off as there was no obvious mantle in p1 etc and it was bit longer but the grade seemed on point so didn't think to much of it. I led P2 thinking im up for a 20m 21 and got served a ±50 metre 24. Somehow managed to queak through for the onsight though.. Yeeew! First 2 pitches are both very good.. The rest remains something to aspire to..

Didn't feel confident in pulling the pocket up high.

Attempted to put the gear in and work the moves ground up. Unfortunately, that one move is nails - I couldn't pull it directly off the rope and there was no gear to aid through. I need to get stronger!

Oh no! I pulled a fairly important handhold off. Many apologies to anyone who is currently working it (including Karl who was resting for his send burn at the time ). It was one of the glued on holds around the third bolt. Looks like the glue held but the rock it was attached to broke.

I'm happy to buy glue and try putting it back on but worried it will just come off again. Anyone knowledgeable about this sort of thing have any advice?

Made it to the 3rd bolt but couldn't clip it so down climbed and stick clipped it, worked out how to clip it and carried on to 4th bolt, played around here for a while eventually getting into the first pocket and going up to the second, next time aiming to hit the first pocket clean and make the move to the second pocket (may need some stronger fingers though?)

"Oh I'm gonna go easy on my elbow today it's tweaked" so accidentally jumped on this. Worked the beginning, then dogged and pulled my way up to maybe the 7th bolt then bailed, realised it was not the grade 23 we'd planned, Hamish rescued my gear, we both shat the bed a bit in the process. Super fun technical and powerful moves, utter crimpfest, need medical certificate now. Thanks to whoever left a much needed bail biner.

Belay tick for Cédric's send (putting the draws on! But he's put a lot of work into it before). I have fondled the slab on the way down from Anticoagulant... it ain't for me!

Did all the moves up to the break but split my tip on the way so came down. Probably wouldn't have made it much further as I was pretty baffled anyway

As i cheated my way up a couple of bolts i reflected that this really felt impossibly hard for 23. Indeed it was not nev herrod

Mistook this for the 23 warm up and it was hideous and chossy and then i bailed at what i think was the crux...

Well that was a silly idea...

Just up to the crux, for a play. Crux was a bit shouldery and my left shoulder didn't want me to keep going. Another time

Had a play on the bottom but hurt my wrist.

Didn't get to do the business up the top, as the front rolled in and drenched us. I like the bottom and roof better than Spent Force, so i will switch projects i think.

Got rained off. First time a diamond falls and the weather was wild! Gail winds and rain.

Up to the start of the crux. Fell a couple times off the pockets. Will go back to it in better conditions.

OMG, what a route, don't underestimate the beginning and the top feels phenomenal. Maybe next year.

Really just looked at it and observed has been done as probably straightforward A3 aid or bloody hard free.
