Very short route on small crimps above the river with a really cool toehook beta for the crux move. Felt a bit hard for the grade, but still appropriate since its so short. Being tall helps.

Very good protection on pitches. Starting pitches have (too) many bolts and even via ferrata style steps to stand on the belay station. Exit from the final pitch is sketchy though. Starts with via ferrata and ends with a bench next to the cross where you can enjoy the view above 100 metre almost vertical drop. And no protection whatsoever leading to the exit trail.

Richtig lässige Granit-Kletterei. Wegfindung nicht so leicht (mehr Wand- als Kantenkletterei). Sind alles am laufenden Seil gegangen, Halbseil-Handling wäre mir hier zu mühsam gewesen. Nur unter der Woche zu empfehlen, weil mehrere Bänder mit losem Material (an den Wochenenden ca. 10 Seilschaften pro Tag).

A bit of bushwhacking on the approach - as usual in Zillertal (although there is a track through the woods, its just almost impossible to find from the bottom). The route is a bit greasy, but the climbing itself is actually very nice. First crux pitch is a short slab with a small corner and almost no feet.

New beta in German: rechts ganz hoch an den obersten seitgriff Dann links nicht ganz weit links rausstehen sondern eher mittig auf leicht abschüssigen tritt, auf den man nicht richtig stehen kann (man kommt nicht ganz rein). Dann an sloper und hochstehen.

Schöne Tour! Der Anfang ist ein bisschen hart wenn man nicht weiß das über dem Überhang gute Griffe kommen. Von rechts hochklettern, damit man nicht so ausgestreckt rechts an den Henkel ziehen muss. Oben übers Dach nochmal ein bisschen anstrengend.

3 more tries. Clip the 4th quickdraw from below (it needs to be longer for this). Then shake before the boulder. Over the roof it is way easier to put your right foot on the big foothold (and not hook). But still go from the two jugs on the left. A little bit too tired on the last try and the sun was already coming in.

Stand daher für uns an Friends. 7 3+ Da secondo Vom letzten BH-Stand 40m zu Stand an zwei alten Schlaghaken. 10m weiter hinter Schuppe versteckt wäre der neue BH-Stand gewesen... 8 4+ Trad 9 5- Da secondo 10 4+ Trad 11 4+ Da secondo 12 2 Trad Stand an zwei Friends um Steinschlag zu vermeiden. Pause Klassiker, Genuss pur. Traumtour! Gletscher in akzeptablen Zustand. Schnee weich, Spaltenbrücken halten noch. Bergschrund geschlossen. Übergang zum Zustiegsband nass. Fels nicht immer trocken (Schmelzwasser von Schneeresten auf den Bändern).

Für mich ist die Schlüsselstelle am 4ten Haken. Aus linkem seitgriff klippen, Dann rechts an kleine leiste. Links hochstehen und links an seit sloper greifen. Rechts hochstehen. Links unten bleiben und mit rechts in Henkel. Um über die kante zu kommen links an beide Henkel raus. Und rechts hoch auf Henkel stehen hooken. Dann dranbleiben.

I did not climb the crux move yet. It is at the QuickDraw below the anchor. Next time I am in the route I want to try going from the two bad crimps with a very high foot on the right, with the right hand into the 3 finger jug.

4 tries, super beautiful route. For me the very last part to the anchor is the hardest. This is where I fell. Beta for reference(in German): - vor der letzten exe rechts und links die mini leisten nehmen. Dann rechts rausgreifen in untergriff und mit beiden füßen auf kante stehen (super für die füße). Dann rechts weit hochstehen auf guten schwarzen Tritt. Rechts in seitgriff, links auch. Links in riesiegen Seitgriff. Rechts drüber dazu greifen. Rechts hochstehen auf delle in Fels (ziemlich weit oben und rechts von offensichtlich schwarzem tritt). Dann links an seitgriff über rechts hand greifen. Rechts ganz oben in seitgriff (ist nochmal eine kleine Schuppe). Dann links weit außen stehen (auf unteren tritt). Links hochgreifen in Sloper (weit rechts ist am besten). Dann links nochmal höher stehen auf oberen tritt. Links voll zupacken und rechts den fuß hochstellen auf riesentritt direkt unter seitgriff. Erstmal in riss kurz zwischentreten wenn nötig. Dann hochschieben und zum umlenker ist es leicht. -

Amazing route. First section with sidepulls and hooks, then a traverse to the left via a short dihedral and to a roof on an arête. Beta here: take a curving undercling with an additional thumb as a pinch with the right (sloper for the left), right foot on small hold on right, left foot all the way up to hand, as far up as possible to place a kneebar. Left hand around the corner to small hold just below sidepull crimp, clip, right hand undercling. Best body position for kneebar is here. Take sidepull crimp with left, release kneebar, bump right to good sidepull above roof. Left foot higher for another kneebar, left hand up to good gaston on arête, release kneebar, right toehook in obvious hole (however not so easy to see from above). Go with right hand to next hold on arête, feet high, match (fell here), right hand up to crimp and it's basically over A slab from here. Felt soft for 7c+, but since I didn't send it in the end, it's hard to say. 2nd and 3rd tries were almost sends.

Grabbed a quickdraw once in the dihedral. Amazing and diverse route. First some vertical climbing on small edges and sidepulls (slippery in some places), then a dihedral, then amazing big jugs and finally some cracks (some jams are quite helpful).

Not so bad until the middle, then a few harder sections. Crux (for me) is to the last bolt. Not convinced I'd be able to pull this off from the ground...But at least I did it with two hangs and took some nice flight lessons along the way
