Great finish of the trip. The overhanging crack at the start felt quite easy. Interesting passage to the left after the ring, followed by a long double crack (I mostly climbed on the left). A few caveats, though: one of the holds on the left that looks inviting to haul oneself up sounds quite hollow and might break when stepped upon, take care! Also, there's a big block on the ledge after the cracks that tilts to the front, better don't step on it. Finally, the massive block on top that seems viable for setting up a belay only sits on one small chunk of crumbly rock, so it's not a good idea to step on it or sling it.

Beautiful, homogenous arête climbing with somewhat spicy protection; without any sensible slings to the ring. A few meters above, I put a thin kevlar on the left before the crux moves. Good slings afterwards.

A great, but airy classic. Quite demanding overall. Easy to the first ring, then down and left a bit to good holds around the corner. Up onto the pillar (good knotted sling, but apparently most people use long webbing around the pillar) and further up to the ring. Cruxy passage above the ring, then slightly to the right and up. Great, but runout finish with a spicy overhang bit.

Mediocre sling placements, but good climbing along the obvious features of the east face. #warmup

It doesn't get much better than this. Perfect line in great quality rock; varied, interesting moves; relatively easy to protect. However, you apparently have to stand in line for this even on week days. ;-)

Good natural line along a crack, then up behind the pillar onto the main summit. Good sling positions, but it seems I did not invest enough effort into the placements, since an older Saxon climber called at least half of them "shit". Guess I'll have to practise more!

Basically the same as the original, except for two or three long, a bit more powerful moves in the middle next to the big rock tunnel. #barefoot

If there were similar routes of this grade at home, I would want to climb them all. So varied and beautiful. Wide crack with lots of holds to both sides. Good slings top and bottom, but long runout in the middle.
