Pretty fun little E3 slab. The whole E grades rating is taking a little to get used to between a trad grade and the same sport grade but I think we are getting into it. Hard hard crux but then it kicks back a fair bit.

You get your money's worth with this one. Hard slab sequences for the two bolts then its the top. I had to work for this and was very happy to reach the top.

Woof. That was a wild climb. A big rockover....and then another big rockover on a blemish/dyno - I didn't envisage there ever being that combo.

Crux past the first bolt but a fairly soft 6a in comparison to the others I did today.

First E4 and got it onsight - pretty stoked. High first bolt but steady to that point. Gets tricky from the 1/2 way mark on.

I laughed at the famous supposed RP4 placement rather than waste effort placing it. 4/10 RP3 and a 6/10 RP1 are somewhere there for the taking.

Traversed in from left as first bolt section was wet.

Wow this is amazballs.. Hard crack moves down low then once you reach the pipe in the wall the gear stops and the slab fun starts. The gear at the top is creative but not what I would call bomber. So glad to top out.

Would be a great first E1 with the crux being short and well protected. Nice crack climbing.

A bit technical and committing, but the grade is for the death flakes you have to have absolute faith in. Much lay backing, stemming, and praying that you don't fall. Jenga easily ripped apart the lower flakes while lowering off, and removed large sections of the very flake you are relying on when climbing this.

A bit sketchy almost all of the way. All gear in vibraty big flake you also use to climb and then the last 10m has no pro (but is thankfully only maybe Brit 4c/5a climbing). A fall would most likely be life changing from anywhere up there onto ledges.

Also did Virgin on the Ridiculous that day - which was wet at the top and felt scary

In the fading light. This route felt strangely sporty for slate, but was great climbing at the grade. 2 hard moves surrounded by pleasantness.

Slippery but that's what you expect i guess
