Ascents of Bloody Mary

Jumped on after ricks ety kate onsight. Starts sick but abit back yourself getting gear in. Had to get 3 pieces in from the kneebar - yes you read correctly, kneebar - before i was confident to move on. Stepping up and right through the undercling is very unique here and a good reminder of why i risk my ankles sometimes to climb these types of routes. A few good cams then up through the pumpy chosswall (not super loose but dont blindly trust shit) to the chains. Stoked to move through carefully and find a safe way to climb what would subjectively be labeled a dangerous climb by many.

Nice enough, easy for grade climbing but remarkably bad rock fro the entire length of the route. No gear at start and all subsequent gear in manky rock. Easy to top rope after Rickety Kate. Completely hazardous to lead.

With Ben and Colin. So much easier on lead than second. Fantastic little route: a mini-roof up front, pinches laybacks and highsteps throughout, then a handcrack bulge to finish. 25 April 05 with Pete. Interesting and a bit different to staple Frog climbing. The start, if you come in from the right, requires a really reachy span. Go check it out - it's a great climb.
