Although I got myself from bottom to top, I can’t say I’ve done the climb. Pulled on every draw and chickened out of leading my pitch. The rappel down was fun

Pitch 1 is really good climbing with interesting rock. Pitch 2 and 3 aren't quite as good but still offer some really cool moves. I lead pitch 1 and 3. Had to take a sit on pitch 1 - keen to try it again with warmer fingers!

Great first pitch, super interesting climbing with some bolts. Would rate highly. Second and third pitches could probably be linked, both have some classic steep moves amidst the choss. 60m rap at top is a good way off flying buttess.

Excellent first pitch, yep very Taipanesque, and with good bolts. Had to belay just over the lip due to drag in the roof crack (I should extend things a bit more). The upper pitches have some good weird steep moves on big holds, but cruxier and with lower quality rock. We got to the ground by the base of Icarus in one ~60m rap

P1 only. Great moves and a variety of climbing on quality rock. Very taipan-esque. 35m rap gets you back to grade.

22 | ★★ Swooping Pterodactyls - with Emil Mandyczewsky, Gerry Narkowicz | 75m, 11 | ★★★ Classic | ||||
Steeper than you think, and very Taipaneque. Sloper-love! P1 only on Emil's gear. No boring bits from when you leave the ground, until you turn the top overhanging crack. Low admin, and high quality. Get on it.
