Second go of the trip, fifth overall. Felt cruisy on the send, but it’s a pretty intense little number that’s basically my anti style.

Really cool climbing on mostly small (occasionally painful) holds. Figured out all the moves but linking them will be tricky - no real rests to speak of! Maybe a long term project.

Fell off the last move from the ground twice

Gave it another crack today and barely missed catching the crux sloper. I like this one a lot but my fingers disagree.

Came about one move away from the flash but couldn’t figure out the sequence at the top. Gave it another lash but by then I was cooked.

Really impressed that I manage to complete all the moves in isolation, but definitely couldn't link them. Had to deadpoint a few moves, not sure I'd have that kind of confidence on lead! Fun climb though, glad I gave it a go, didn't think I'd even get to the top dogging it.

Got all the moves but there is basically no rest. Struggle to link them and have enough beans left. Enjoyable first couple of attempts, very hot and bothered on last go. Should have called quits on first attempt and climbed some more achievable routes.

Fingery cruxy climbing with a hard move below the anchor that made me sweat a few times

First go

Relentless crimping for 15 meters with fantastic movement the whole way, super classic route! Big moves on actual jugs to start, then fingery movement on sharp holds to round out the line. Climb smooth and fast because there's not much opportunity to rest until your above the bulge and at the anchor. I put in 5 attempts over 3 days to send. Really psyched to have managed it on my last day in Paynes!

Feels stiff at the grade, and an awesome route. I got on it late in the day probably gonna work on it while I'm here.
