Ascents of Exasperator

Probably the best crack I've ever climbed. Insanely good and unlikely finger-lock slab-dancing. Climbed as one giant pitch. Consider me fucken exasperated.

Never been so pumped on a slab in my life.

(Aside: if you choose to lower off the top anchor to the ground you'll need like a 90m rope. Best to bring your partner up on second then do two raps.)

There is only one pitch on this route so I decided to link it today. The only way to do it really. What a classic. A good contender for the best 5.10 in Squamish

Screaming barfies! There's a reason normal people don't climb in December! All worth it to laugh at Adam try to jam his meat cleavers into the world's smallest cracks.

First route at Squamish and it certainly didn't disappoint. First pitch (10a) was absolutely sensational with perfect locks all the way up. As Kelly described the second pitch (10c) "it was like watching you try and stuff a parcel into an envelope slot". I got thoroughly spanked by this pitch but with Kelly's dainty envelope sized fingers she absolutely smashed up it with no issue!!!

Seconding Carl up for his onsight glory. Enjoyable belaying. I love watching people dig in hard.
