Cool techy moves and a mono! Was a close call gaining that ledge... Even with a bunch of chalk to help clarify holds I found this harder than Leviathan

Clean Repeat TRS.

After chopping the original (crappy) start, re-jigging the bolts in the upper section, repairing a super key broken hold (that was forcing a weird "round the world" sequence, and meant the crux bolts were all in the wrong place), and developing a whole new (gr21) start, I needed to see if my efforts had borne fruit.

In short, this is now one of my favourite routes on the wall. I'd call it 2nd best after Life of Riley. Its rad that with a bit more route development experience, and a bit of time and effort, this route -that has always frustrated me for having a crappy lower half, and a good but poorly arranged upper half- is now one of my favourite sporty sport routes I've put up.

I really hope this gets more traffic now, because it deserves it.

Incidentally, the gr21 Bottom section (25m to the first anchor) is proper good climbing, and would happily stand next to such contemporaries at Cosmic County.

Was very thankful for a bit of chalk and beta. Definitely would not have onsighted it. The low slab crux would be "interesting" for shorties. The top section is a wandery mission.

Fell at 3rd bolt resulting in delicious gravel rash right down my chest, lowered to no hands rest on slab then did the rest clean. Somewhere between a flash, a redpoint and a dog A good endurance training route, quite the journey.

2nd shot today. Made it through the top crux on 1st shot placing the draws (and using a sequence that made it 1.5 grades harder), but a foot slip put an end to that. 2nd shot, with a refined upper crux sequence, this went solidly, but tiredly (no way I was getting another shot today). On my 1st lap, I had some exciting whips dialling the top moves. Might be easy at the grade. On par with Smoko for quality.

Top Rope Solo lap before bolting. Quite a few rests figuring it out. 24/25? A nice long pitch that is quite sustained in a variety of styles, marred only by the logical deviation (briefly) into the clean section of the nearby crack at mid-height before continuing up the orange streak (it would be contrived to try and avoid it at that point). The upper Orange Streak could be a real heartbreaker with 3 hard sections one after the other.
