Ascents of Diprotodon as various tick types

Hang dogged my way up on this one today. Took a much needed whipper. Pumpy and tough for the grade. At least you get rewarded with a jug haul at the end. Will be back to try redpoint this one 😂

Too tired at the end of the day, so just went bolt to bolt on this. Great varied climbing with a killer pump from the starting section.

Really fun climb, was just super tired after the previous climbs. Managed to get through the bouldery start but pumped out at the pocket when I couldn’t find holds. Really varied sustained climb. Keen to come and send in one.

Had a second burn on this and it went exactly like this first. Two falls in the same spots. Really wanted to work and learn the moves proper for this. The movement is so interesting to me. Great line!

First burn on this. Was a tricky start and the tree is so tempting close to use. Did a silly dyno of the finger horn and fell. Found a sick heel to move through after. Also slipped off further up when it gets a little more bare

super rad line! made it past the bulge on the flash burn but got tangled in the technical moves higher. Really fun subsidy if movement

Took a big fall and smashed my foot into the wall. Might have helped to put a roller draw on the bolt out to the left after the traverse. Hard for a 21!

Found this to be very hard for the grade. Got through the lower section to the 4th bolt alright but ran out of juice quickly and had a few sits. Bouldery and fingery start leads to pumpy climbing across to and over the bulge. Couple of big moves required to finish it off. One to come back to when conditions are better.

Got through the lower moves over the bulge no worries, took a huge whip on the easy headwall because I couldn't figure out where the holds were. Have to come back and try this when the sun isn't blinding me... Lower section is heaps is wicked, tough for the grade

Good effort for first big outdoor day, need to build stamina.

Sweet line. Only gave it one burn, made it to anchors but fell a few times. Keen to return for the tick.

Super interesting climbing. Was towards the end of our trip and I just ran out of beans and skin to move past the 5th draw.

29/30 - Last day of the long weekend, and being the 29th showed. Pumpy little number, with a technical start. Such a great line! Hitting this fresh is required!

Went too far right at the crux and came off.

Almost had the onsight, didn't see the crucial pocket on the final move before the jugs at the top and tried to muscle through it on non-existant crimps. Damn it! Feisty number from start to finish, with plenty of tricky moves broken up by a few rad hand-jams. Hard at 21?

2 shots today. So close first shot but got me once again!

wow - the moves are all there but so hard to sequence together!

Two rests. Too many pitches in one day and this climb calls for some juice left in the tank! Sustained and surprisingly free of many rests. A couple of horizontal jams helps though...
