Ascents in Flinders Peak (limited access) by Brendan Coulter

Harder than both iron man and 4 meters. Don’t know how I’ll have the juice to do those dead points after the traverse crux

Not convinced it’s any harder than pepperoni, definitely a soft 28 to put in the back pocket.

Mostly easy climbing up until the crux - but if feels like a real 24, with a crux that goes for more than just two moves.

Probably one of the more enjoyable (and accurately graded) climbs I’ve done at The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is the new Pages! Quality climbing in a good position - but very soft at 24.

Not bad climbing, but it feels like you don’t know whether you’re on this one or the one next to it

Woo! I get to claim a “top rope onsight” 😂 warmup to test out the injured shoulder. The “best rock on the mount” lasts for a total of about 5 moves. Nice and sustained, probably my favourite at the sanctuary

Quite a fun line, but 26 is way off, even when compared to Pages grading. Shame it eases up so much after the initial steep section. Only slightly harder than “It’s business time” but less sustained

Goes on gear - bring small nuts. A small runout near the top, but the pro is bomber

Slipped off right at the start, so no onsight for me

-1 grade for long arms. First half is really fun, top half I wouldn’t come back for.

First burn of the day, second since returning to Aus. Sick moves on near-horizontal terrain

Didn't really enjoy it that much

Fell clipping the anchors on my second shot, so had to come bac. z-clip to make life easier

Tried without kneepads, so didn't get far
