Ascents in Kangaroo Point by Ken Thrash

Some really amazing foot work required on this thin steep face and slab. Lovely route, just needs top anchors to make it even better.

Used this route to set up a toprope for Katherine's 3 year old niece.

Good little warm up route.

I top roped the route first as my last attempt a few weeks ago was terrible (could have been due to the imminent rain). Had preplaced draws on the last 2 bolts but lead from the ground up. Awesome route.

First time on this route and took one rest.

Second attempt went a bit better but also had to take one rest. Next time....

Foot slipped off, which ruined the onsight attempt.

Had to lead it to redeem my dignity after my first failed attempt.

some really thin technical climbing with critical footwork.

This is really a fantastic route with some balance required.

Someone had to get my draws down again.

Tried it the short person way (thanks Grace for the beta) but I'm too tall. Ended up doing it the normal (sorry conventional) way.

Managed to do it the short person's (Garce Daff) way, not too sure which is easier the conventional way or short person why.

This is a difficult one to read so could not work out the bottom section and took a rest, then finished the route.

Seconded the route to confirm I can do it clean, going to be a difficult one to lead due to run outs and need a 120cm sling for drill hole.

Pre-placed the 120cm sling through the drill hole. Not too sure I would like to lead this route without it pre-placed.

Ok so Route Description may be correct, "difficult to onsight" especially when the crux hold has not chalk and EVERYTHING else has chalk...

Much easier once you know the crux moves.

Really good climb with interesting moves.
