Real progress. Linked all moves from the start to the last bad hold. More lock off power needed to turn and "lever" up to get into the final heel hook. First half felt easy now. Crimps are not too bad. Right foot toe jam is essential.

Wanted to climb this as warmdown but was surprised about the athletic moves and tricky topout. beta?

Crowded spot today with 20+ people in front of the bloc. Anti-style boulder! Jug to top done, everything else hard!

Last problem of the trip.

Quite good if you avoid the sandy, brighter footholds.

The first few holds wouldn't be as glassy if it wasn't so sandbagged maybe. Cool boulder with a #morpho last move. A lot of rather strong people didn't send this so the given grade seemed really low.

Nice and crimpy.

Seemed doable except the first move. 3 big pads useful for the uneven ground.

Great fun to link some moves on this one. Start to left sloper done. Left sloper and right undercling to jug almost done (hard while facing the sun), topout done.

Standing start. The blind topout was rather hard the way I did it.

Looking at the topo some days after I'm not so sure if the version Ivan showed me used the correct starting holds. Crux of what we did was to hold the mono as an intermediate.

A majestic highball with nice holds and moves! 2nd go after testing the pads from half height. Glad I looked at the topout first!! (used the pocket on top of the boulder that I knew was there.)

Quite easy when you know the right way. Lovely crimps.

Found a morpho soulution for the topout.

Tried to do the first move with Micha's beta but couldn't generate enough pull with the toe hook. Seemed crazy hard!

Pulled hamstring on my first go of the day. Should've sent yesterday.

Getting into that sidepull seemed impossible. Different beta?!

Warm-up. More exciting than last time because it already got dark.

Started in the overhang but with feet on another small block. Fun!

Cool problem on the right side of an arête. Feels impossible at first. Granite smearing, balance and slopers.

Hard! Juggy on sharp slots and a very specific "smear, stand up and reach" problem at the very top. I saw 7a/b boulderers not sending.

Tough problem with a undercut/sidepull disk.

More pads and spotters needed.

Great fun to project this with Andreas. Delighted that I could do moves! Feels doable.

Didn't start all the way in there but did everything else 2nd shot.

Short but with an interesting top-out. Also nice to pull on a mono once in a while.

A trip highlight! We joined a group of guys projecting this. Impressive and exciting to watch two of them do it. I found a good solution for the start and got to the arête almost every time. Hard to reach the hold on top of the arête in full stretch. Some falls trying to catch the swing. Big pads and 2 or 3 spotters are nice to have! I'll come back! (It turned out that I might pulled a core muscle on my right side which took some weeks to fully recover.)
