Ascents of Shaggy's Route

Led the 2nd pitch. Jeremy led the 1st and 3rd.

A swarm of march flies detracted from the experience.

ok rambling, nice to remember about Shaggy.

P2 has beehive. P1 really good. Needs more climbing.

Quite a nice ramble with each being offering something different.

Edit. I think it was Pitch 1 and 3 not 2 & 3 as I originally put down.

Surprisingly good. If it only had more ascents to clean it up it might even be worth two stars. The climbing is as good as on the Dribble, particularly on the first pitch which has a number of interesting sections.

Underated climb, p1 especially good

First pitch was good but the rest were nothing special.

First pitch was 16 at least, second and third were much easier and fun

I remember pausing for quite a while at the first slabby bulge which Fanny made very short work of.

Decent climbing that isn't nearly as scrappy as it looks. Done as 3 on a 70m rope. Good lead from Stephen on first pitch. Managed to find a small P3 overhang to climb through for the crew to follow. Walked off right and soloed up the wee wall to get off.

With Pete. Bees just after the first belay, but you climb up to the right of them, they didn't bother us.

Belayed 5m higher on pitch 1 as the first 5m off the big ledge is unprotected and I have this thing about factor 2s onto the belay. Results in a small stance but excellent anchors. I'm not all that rapt in the anchors on the big ledge either. I assume most parties sling the huge block, which would be fine if it was sitting on a flat ledge but there's a bit of a slope there. Maybe I'm over-cautious.
