Ascents in Lower cliffline as Red point

Several sessions; exact # tries unknown. Potential bad fall on crux traverse into ledge, so one must be careful to control any falls. Crux section about 13 moves, with the 2nd half being hardest. First half of crux section about grade 25, and final 6 crux moves 26, and makes the grade. Easy topout from there. I could only do one move of the crux when I first tried it, as its very technical, and thin and powerful. One of the best routes at JB on nice orange solid rock, and harder than Scarface, the other 27 at this crag.

First 25! Awesome sequence all up, might be a bit softer than most 25s but I think the first few moves/meters are worth the grade.

The first 6m has more sand than the average beach, but its one of the easiest 25s around. First go after cleaning it.

A little crumbly and forever sandy, so you can't pull too hard on those crimps on the headwall.

One of the best 25's at JB. Hard for the grade though, and the slopers are not useable during summer. Nowra style climb, packing a lot of punch for its size.

Sent it in the dark using a headtorch, after work. A little hard as a warm-up, but held it together and got the send, after a few tries.

Way too hard for 25, so I suggest upgrade. Brutal Nowra style power slab

The onsight wasn't the best - but the red point was never in doubt. Some cool moves in the style of the crag.

Start was not just wet but super slimey! Pulled past and tried the top. Could be a pretty great route without the seepage but alas

omitted the start cairn. Some heel hooks and a memorable mantle

Very easy onsite for somebody, now that I've cleaned all the sand off the holds and chalked them up.

Finally got this. Felt heaps better in the low crux today with feet sorted. Deserves more traffic. A great test piece

Tall people dead point the left hand from the slopey crimp to the jug. This felt harder than Cuckoo. 3rd go

Third shot. First shot it was horribly dirty. 2nd shot it had improved. 3rd go it was perfect!

Very good technical climbing. A difficult start move leads to a couple of easier moves and a technical clip. A couple of small crimp holds allows a move to a good edge on the right from where I made a big reach to a left hand sloper and a bump to a good hold after which the hard climbing is over. The top section was a bit dirty but the holds were large enough to make the climbing not too bad.
