It takes a while to be comfy doing technical moves above little cams! Im not quite there yet... fell at the crux, then came back to lead it placing gear. Extremely cruxy and very classy!

Great climb, but irritatingly cruxy. I fell off with one hand on the "fin" that ends the crux, but still unable to figure out how to use my feet to make the hold useful. Good gear at the crux (though strenuous to place), but average gear for the 3/4s of the climb below it, and surprisingly tough climbing to get there. Don't underestimate the lower half. This will go next time, for sure.

easy enough start, found myself fighting to stay on through the tough finger crack crux before getting to the nice handcrack to finish.

I tried this 4 years ago, aaaand I fell off again today on the Alzheimer's onsight attempt... This time on the final move of the very bouldery crux (after which I was so worn out that even getting past the crux became a debacle). Honestly, I don't really like this climb. The start is okay, non-trivial climbing, but the gear is very spaced and kind of average. Then, high up, you have a crux which is nails by contrast to the rest of the route and not very pleasant, followed by a dawdle-y hand crack.

2nd shot today (4th total over 5 years) placing all gear. I REALLY do NOT like this climb, now I never have to do it again. I think I ticked this out of spite, rather than pleasure. Challenging climbing to the rest on sub-par gear and rock, then an annoyingly hard upper boulder where my fingers don't fit in any of the locks. The top crack is a sandy dawdle. IMHO the worse of the "classic" cracks on this wall.

Was after a challenge and I got one. 40C heat wave was next level.. Placed a few nice pieces from the dbl knee bar, then one more and tried to power through the finger crack but no way haha tricky awkward crux holds- fleiled around a bit and took a little whipp..figured it out then but still doesn't feel totally secure. Keen to put that dog to rest.. Its a great challenge with some varied climbing!

Did not like the gear down low behind the flakes so bailed. I’m sure it’s totally fine but I’m not a fan of wires behind Sydney sandstone flakes 😅😅

Was a battle. Got spooked early on with a hardish move. Really not that bad. Just commit to going out left next time! Also there is a double knee-bar rest on this climb, which is super cool for a pure trad route haha. Arjan also found a single knee-bar further down, remember to look for that next time. Finger crux is hard! It looks like there was a fin that snapped off (probably some blown pro), so I wonder how much harder it is now?
