Kofel
The Kofel is the signature mountain of Oberammergau. Around the mountain there are several climbing areas from crags with single-pitch routes to faces with multi-pitch climbs. |

Norwegerwand
Solid 18-30m wall, high above the town of Oberammergau, with fun climbs ranging from easy 4s all the way to 9-. The wall is comprised of lime stone and tends to be fairly sturdy although there may be the occasional rockfall. While on the ground, you spend most of your time on a narrow ledge with a steep drop off in the back. This is also where you belay from. |

Friedhofswand
Compact wall close to the cemetery. The easier routes in the right part of the wall are unfortunately a bit dirty, but nice to climb. Climbing on the five leftmost routes is banned due to celtic stone carvings on the wall. The hangers in those routes have been removed. |

Zustieg über den Kofelsteig, da wo der Weg an eine glatte Felswand kommt nach rechts und Schutthalde queren. Über Schrofenvorbau. aufwärts (kurz II) nach rechts und am Grat nach links steil zum Einstieg.
Von da seilfrei unschwierig über Schrofen zum Kofelgipfel. |

Schöne Kletterei an tollen Wasserlöchern vor allem in den Seillängen 2 und 3. Die Abstände zwischen den Bohrhaken sind leider oft sehr weit, weshalb man den Schwierigkeitsgrad beherrschen sollte. Mit 60 m Doppelseil kann man vom letzten Stand bis zum Einstieg abseilen. |
