Crux section must have been beamed in from the blueies. very fine crimp and pocket pulling. The onsight burn was very shortlived but that's show business.

Unexpectedly climbed all the hard stuff to the trad section but didn’t bring any gear, so had to whip. Have done the trad part numerous times before.

Very tricky and committing traverse crimping on slick pebbles. I rapped in to inspect the semi-rotten carrot and found it 'just' ok. Is that a flash? Meh. Be careful. Probably 24 R realistically.

This has consistently good climbing all the way to the top. A 60m rope gets you back to the ground.

With Ash. Loved it! 21 Oct 04 with Cate. The crux of this is exquisite. Cate used the same placements as I did when I climbed it last time. Such a great second, but very glad not to be leading this. Stas nearly had a moment trying to plug gear into the first ledge. Beta alert - be ready with a 0.3 flexible stem cam, slots nicely into a rail at the first ledge. Your heart/legs/belayer will thank you.

got a bit spooked by stories of tough unprotected start and decided to set up top rope to suss it out (by doing Entertainer all the way up to the roof and then traversing right onto the Round Up and to the bolts). Turned out the start is not too bad but would probably advise a bouldering mat. Classy moves and great gear all the way to the top.

4m deck onto ground after a cam blew. Contemplated not logging this out of shame after gen and kyle told me a literal day earlier that i needed to be more careful with my gear off the deck.. i feel like care wasnt so much the issue here. Goaded into the only spot i could put gear in, knew it was shit, tried to back it up and fell. Sitting on the shit cam could have been a resolution, so too not attempting grade limit climbs mentioned as bold in the guide. A learning moment as this could have been much more serious but oweing to the care of the girls on wednesday and some r&r, i got lucky with only bruising to the hip (triaged out of needing an xray) and back on the wall as of yesterday. Ironically comic relief would be a great way of describing the commentary post fall, joking about tanjas bright new rope getting dirty.

Was convinced not to lead this one due to some ground falls by others, but honestly it wouldve been fine. A committing start, where you need to get the gear right, but it wasnt unsafe. Not supper sustained, with only the last move being really fingery, one hard pull.
