Working out where the route goes (I think I've got it right on the topo?), and where the holds are, and what gear it takes, was mighty challenging for 10m of climbing. But once that was all worked out it seemed closer to 24 than 25.

Pinkpoint flash in the dark, probably made it harder on myself than it should have been. Lots of moving up and then looking down and realising that better sequences existed, turns out we mostly climb our limit in daylight for a reason. Incredible moves and positions at the grade. So stoked that Sarah got this first go this trip, didn't even look like a fight.

Another strange line. Maybe the cold got to me and jaded my mind. Very engaged lower crux with medicore smears on slick rock while jamming to move up. Roof moves were very fun and the rest of the top. Need to come back and lead this on a good day!

Thought I would easily go for the jump to the jugs. Ended up spending 5 minutes looking like a child trying to jump into a cold pool. Decided to just climb from below. Felt pretty hard but made it through with the fattest kneebar. Stunning climbing all the way to the top! Another grade 22 at arapiles that only gets 2 stars but is basically perfect.
