Ascents of Pick Pocket

Got spooked like a lot of the other ascentionists going around the arete to the thin crux holds. Degenerated into a bit of a dog show.

Pleasant enough...

Enjoyed this, nice ironstone and will still be fine, or better when the fragile holds that I didn't use but had chalk all over them disappear

Much easier with the draws hung if you are short. Fun grit stone thing.

Some interesting exposed moves (the start is particularly worthwhile), but the key thin holds through the crux might not be long for this world.

For some weird reason this felt a bit gripping for a gr 19 sport route. Climbing on the other side of the arete to where the bolts are place on questionable holds definitely made it more exciting than i expected!

Great pockets at the start with some cool technical moves. The top arete moves get a bit scary with your rope on the other side.
