Ascents in Departures (Upper) as Pink point

The flash failed when a foot slipped but it went solidly second go. A good warm up, if a bit difficult to read at first.

Great! king line. Pretty intimidating at first but went pretty smoothly in the end. Funky last boulder.

Fun jugging to a kneebar crux. 2nd go.

Good put this to bed. It's no easy 23.

It's been over 4 years since i had a grade jump and fuck me it felt good! Battled right to the finishing jug! Such a rad route for my first 28!

Slightly harder without using chalk.

This felt quite hard without a long wingspan, especially onsighting. Foot slip on the second go and cleaned up on the third. Still felt solid at the grade.

Couldn’t work thos out last time on it but managed it in two goes today.

Second Mega Classic 27 in 5 days, so psyched! Did it with the dyno at the top too. First go today, thanks for the draws Jase and Jenna!

2nd shot today, 3rd total. My 1st shot today ended with a fall on the (Scary!!!) slab after a titanic Alzheimer's Onsight battle to there. The 2nd shot was exhilarating (especially the top), but solid. The rock is sharp and not the best, but I do enjoy the varied and intimidating climbing. Probably IS 24 (or a soft 25) but due to the demanding adventure it presents, tends to FEEL harder, especially the runout, insecure slab to the anchors.

2nd shot. On the first lap I dawdled to the last bolt (about grade 20 to here) then got lost in all the chalk and balked at the move. Essentially a cruisy warmup to a surprisingly difficult final boulder-problem. Great position, good feature, average route.

Yeah, no way I was onsighting that techo crux for a warmup. Substantially better than it looks, with lots of rad moves, and numerous ways of tackling the crux (I went for weakling techo). Was a cruise on the 2nd shot, but still enjoyable.

Felt nails when unchalked and amidst an arctic-gale. Was fine on the 2nd lap. Short, but quite intense. Probably deserves more traffic. Quite thin, and very technical.

Not the cruisy 25 you were looking for! Gotta work for it! I jumped through the roof. Chris did a very nice heelhook method. [2]

I still bare the scars from my failed onsight attempt on this last year where I skipped a clip, dynoed out the roof, failed to stick and splatted the wall hard on my wrist. It was good to finally get back on and giterdone. The last move, cutting feet on sketchy holds is super exciting. [3]

Pretty moderate to a sitdown, and then 4 bolts of really cool steep bouldering including a kneebar rollaround crux. This deserves way more attention! [3]

1st shot today after many visits. Perfect conditions and felt grades easier. The lower crux has been a nightmare, bad conditions I couldnt touch it and in good conditions I walked it. Such a rad route!.

With a few more repeats this route would be really cool. Climbs the obvious flake in the middle of the wall with some fun moves and a pumpy finish. Second shot as balked the big move first shot.
