Pretty wild how many awesome moves and different styles are packed into about 10m of climbing! Amazing route and deserves more attention. Crux is very reach dependant, maybe doesnt go for wingspans under 175cm or so...

Came back to belay John Capretta and he came back down after giving a solid attempt on the crack section. Leaving the gear he placed I gave it my second attempt but with no crack gloves this time. The crack section felt a lot easier and I cleared it with a bit of effort.

I Trad climbed the rest of the route and it was the most effort I put in a climb. The top slab section was my biggest run out by far. Even though every move felt like a fall I derived a sadistic form of enjoyment from the fright. I kept looping between thinking how cool this was to thinking how fucked this was to whispering a prayer before every slight movement of a muscle. The sense of accomplishment once I reached the top was absolutely euphoric!

Amazing and the best crack and slab package I have ever climbed so far.

such a sick line, with amazing varied climbing! fell in the crack and decided to leave my gear in the start. the jamming was sick and really techy, and I got through it after a couple more tries, into the lovely steep jugs and then the airy top slab! the runout was really heady. it was super scary but super cool to do such delicate slabbing so far above gear! super stoked, but I've gotta come back for the redpoint!

So classic! Apart from a route finding mishap on first pitch, the whole things was epic! Every pitch was great and unique! 3rd pitch I thought was quite hard at 19, after a fall, I lowered off pull the rope and climbed it again with 3 bits of gear still in the wall.

Thanks to Crhis's great gear locations i was able to climb my hardest grade outdoors so far.

Kooked the onsight. Pretty slippery!

Pfew what an adventure, hit the deck on my onsight attempt when I took on a nut at the start that pulled out sideways. Little bit shaken decided to top rope it. Felt pretty doable and gear was solid so figured I'd give it another redpoint burn.

2nd redpoint go I had completely forgotten about my jamming beta, so I hung onto the good fingerlock for ages figuring out where to go. Despite my trepidations at the start I managed to make it through only to came off above the sentry box because I had forgotten where to go.

3rd go, I found good sport climber beta through the start only using 1 fingerlock and laybacking the rest. This attempt was thwarted by a foot slip getting into the sentry box, the gear held but I did land on my feet back on the ground.

With daylight fading, I decided to quickly have a 4th go with the first 3 pieces still in. This go I made it to the top but does make it a pink point. When my butt is less sore from the ground fall I'll have to go back for the proper clean red point.

But hey, with 3 falls on gear in 1 day I've definitely accomplished my "Learn to fall on gear" trip goal

Buggered the first attempt and left 2 cams in. Shook it out on the ground and went to the top. So classic.

Some committing moves, and a burly offwidth to finish - harder than 15 but fantastic climb, protection, and movement.

Not sure if Missed the route but ended up taking a super delicate finish up the face to the right of the large overhanging block, quite run out made for a spicy finish

So classic. White granite perfect weather, one year on amnesia got it second go.

Slipped off at the crux on the onsight attempt. Used a better footer second go. Fun, stress free slabbing. Backs off considerably after about the 10 metre mark.

Half pick half red. Tried mantling/laybacking the wrong direction first time, went second go. Double ropes handy and a bomber nut bellow crux makes this a very safe lead

half pink half onsight? dunno - had about 4 goes at the tough bottom section, and fras convinved me to keep lowering off and go for the send. felt really flowy after working the initially tough moves, and once i pulled past the tough section the rest of the climb was a dream. thought it was my second 20 lead but thecrag is calling it 21? dont know about that. thanks to will and roland for going full simon carter
