Routes in Sunrise Boulevard

Follow the rising right trending seam across the main slabby face to its end and topout. This line crosses over the Barnacle Buster Project.

Open Project. This line takes the main blank slab capped by a small roof. Thin holds and balancy movements uk the face lead to a technical crux up high to gain the hidden rail in the roof. Topout directly over the lip.

The Black wall of slopers and edges a few meters right of the Barnacle Buster project.

Sit start from big rail under roof, climb rightwards to gain the big opposing undercling and move up the wall from there.

From Up, traverse rightwards following obvious holds all the way across the wall, around the corner to step off onto the ledge 4m after the corner.

Climb the wall right of the corner, not using the corner. Start on the right of wall on a tufa like hold.

This huge line takes the corner to the right of the tall blade of rock at water level. Technical face climbing leads to a high crux on the blade. Falling is not an option high on this line. Half boulder problem, half shallow water solo.

The short block at the left end of Starstruck Ledge. Climb from a sit start, do not use the main crack to the right of the block. Use just the block. Interesting balance problem to gain the top of the block.

Follow the tall vertical corner crack a few meters left of the Skyfall arête. Good climbing leads to a high crux before a mellow topout.

Climb the magnificent orange arête utilising the rails on the right hand face. Stand start on the jug at head height.

Climb the corner right of Skyfall.

!!!Dangerous Fall Potential!!! Climb the vertical seam Right of Ziggmund Freud, breaking right at 2m to gain the high right ledge on the right arête. Mount this and top out. Do not fall as you risk falling off another edge into rocks and crashing waves.

Up, or down, the easy corner. Easiest way out of the crag.

Sit start on the obvious undercling jug, hard move to the lip, mantle the lip and straight up to easier ground.

Start as for Up, from the lip traverse right into the crimp and a hard move to gain the lay back, then finish as for Up and Away.

Sit start matched on the crimp rail, boost up then hard move right to some sweet compressions on good edges.

Start matched on the jugs, big dead-point dyno off bad feet to the next ledge, straight up to finish.

The obvious line up the main wall. Start on the jug rails and climbing the corner to the top. Can also be used as a down climb.

Follow the diagonal ledge line up and right, finishing directly above Up.

Up the corner crack with finger jugs, stems and lay-backs. The feet get thinner at the top!
