Good gear. Route is straight up the central crack in the middle of the buttress. Step 1 metre right before going over bulge.

Awesome thin and technical route. Tiny feet at the crux. Lots of small, fun crimps and movement. A bit run out at top but holds get better. Using non-white chalk made it more challenging

wow. super commiting and fun. got me thinking "how the hell am i still on the wall" a few times. one of those routes that makes me wish i used chalk. while i struggled a lot, melissa then breezed through xD

sport climbing mecca only 5 min from halls gap! this climb is just super fantastic! run it out to first bolt then prepare for some technical moves on thin holds. rock is kinda scaly with all these small protrusions so the holds are different than anything else in grampians. fairly sustained climbing and if it wasn't for my super endiurance training with kent i wouldn't have got this one. out of all my 22 onsights this was maybe the hardest.

Super tricky and hard for a 22. If you're a Bit taller then it's alright but I had to fight for the onsight after climbing tufas and overhangs for 4 months. 1st crux is directly after the 2 bolts when you traverse to the left, I did a massive drop knee and lock off really hard with my left to reach for the right hand jug, or you could just dyno I guess, and there's another one waiting near the end. Pretty run out.

A very wet crux made this quite desperate

We were stoked to find this stunner unblemished by mere mortals (ie sport climbers), probably because it is a fearsome neighbour to the other climbs. Once spotting what appeared to be the most bomber overhung jams on planet earth, we knew our only choice was to appease the crack gods and try the line. Ever the faithful servant, I tied in as sacrifice. I quickly found myself in a fight like a cockatoo balancing on a wire, and was even cheered on by the birds themselves. After gravity nearly brought me down, I managed to pull safely into a moss garden where I was able to moisturise any dry skin, before clawing my way to the finish. Jake enjoyed a cleaner line up some crimps. Safe to say the crack gods and I were pleased!

Sharp crimps, satisfying moves and only needed one early piece of protection given the hangers, nice as I didn't know what I was getting into. Felt like a short but fair 22.

Very cool climb with great movement the whole way. A bit run out to the anchors but in much easier terrain. So stoked to onsight this route as there were a three distinct cruxes of very different character.
