very fun climb with a short crux at the top.

Yimbo ran up this and just left the QuickDraws in the wall because he couldn’t be bothered dogging up after taking his unannounced victory whip off the top!

This is a stellar route which sees you up either side of the arête. Take a DMM 4 / 5 for the start and you’ll be well protected before the first bolt.

The crux at the top is great to work out!

This was sublime. It felt a bit spicy as I was in a hurry not to finish in the dark. Hugh had to finish it in the dark though, sorry mate A couple of runouts to keep you on your toes and a fantastic long technical arete. Absolutely loved it!

On rachs gear. Pretty spooky for a sport climb haha. Ripped a hold. Nearly fell.

Very long route with some great moves, although still some dubious rock. You will need some trad gear to clean the route if you only have a 70m rope.

make sure to extend your draws on the right side of the arete. would have fallen at the last move if it weren't for having a crimp pointed out at me. unique moves between lots of rests

Awesome, flowing grade 18 weaving back and forth around the arete until the final crux. Marred only by some suspect rock in places and some dicking around at the anchor if you don’t want to haul up double ropes through that top crux

Not bad, crux at very end several grades harder than the rest of it.

Clean until final Mantel move.

Lead 3/4’s

A Long pitch of enjoyable climbing in a pretty cool position. Some distance between bolts makes for some enjoyable exposure. Felt a bit easier than 21

Pretty good route for the grade with some interesting and exciting climbing. Rap from chains is 50m, not what guide book suggests.

Almost a classic, marred only by a reasonable amount of loose rock constituting key holds. Interesting, looooooong, non-cruxy arete climbing, with a few particularly standout moments. The finale in particular is very entertaining.

Great route with the crux right at the top. A few loose blocks. Ripper pitch all the way.

A real sports route at Moonarie, who would have thought. Fun arete climbing on mostly good rock. Keeps at it right till the end!

An excellent route and nice and long. Still a touch of loose rock and a fair bit of moss, but more traffic will fix that.

Seems to be a bit cleaner than last time I did it. Still easier than Toblerone at 20.
