Ascents in Kiama as various tick types

Very funky route with the added spice of sea spray on the way up. Very well bolted with a nice low clip at the bottom to protect your belayer

Very Tassie style. Happy just to work out the crux eventually!

Finally managed to figure out good beta and made all the moves clean but had several takes on the way up. Excellent route with several crux sequences.

Had to hang briefly on a draw in my onsight attempt to sus out the holds for the step across. It was fine in the end and the start is probably the most strenuous part.

Great crack with good gear, although small cams low down.

Not my strength so had to hang a few times.

Got on this as a warm up and found it really hard. If I didn't know the grade and got told it was harder than 20 I would have believed it.

Too taxed to pull it all together, but I did the crux thanks to the much easier beta that George Broadfoot found. Heel hooks baby ! George Broadfoot flashed it in style !

So I think the grade is now better at 25.

Could be diabolical if you're short tho.

Pile of shit, don't waste your time. Onsight to the bolt before the anchor then bailed.

Glad the bolts are there. Everything I seemed to touch would crumble. Make sure your belayer is alert and wearing his PPE.

Attempt logged just to make this comment: I last saw Ferret in the early 80s at Arapiles with a mullet, whereas I was wearing a home-made viscose leopard-print sleeveless in which I had recently fallen off A Taste of Honey. So mate, if you're out there, and willing to overcome past fashion failures with honest attempts, I'm willing to hold the rope.

As for the route, well, a flared fingerlock and funny stem just to get off the ground, then it gets hard. Oh, and cover that sharp rock right at the base.

Brutal all the way. Foot slips on smooth rock.

A bit of a nervous lead, a fair bit of small friable small rock pieces coming off. Otherwise a good route. Gave it a bit of a clean up, removed loose rocks, should be OK to tick next time. Crux in the middle.

Very strenuous bouldery laybacking, fighting the barn-door most of the way up. Some technical crimps with poor feet. Top crux an exquisite stem problem. Rock a lot better then the other route. People who like this sort of thing will like this. Cleared all the moves but this will take a bit of work to tick on lead.
