This scared me more than I thought it would, but while doing pitch 2 I had the best time. Great gear and what position. I must come back to lead it. I just hated the runout end of pitch 1 and the belay after that pitch was also a bit light on gear. But Tim reckons I'm just a soft sport climber. Coming back down was also an adventure on two long epic abseils on the other side of the gully, really cool.

This was really good - steep and fun with good quality gear. We had hail and sun for 10 min, which was surreal, but didn't even get us very wet! Last two pitches are safer to solo than leading most easy climbs in Peak Charles!

First pitch is a strange off-width at the start. Third pitch has some scary lose blocks and felt committing. A humbling start to the trip!

Led all pitches except first (Rach). Often run out, loose, mossy and crumbly rock in places. Bring larger tricams to use in face pockets/ solution holes. The crux move on pitch 4 is difficult to protect without small cams and felt harder than 17 (more like 18 or 19).

The first pitch was a bit awkward with the vegetation. The start of the second pitch was the highlight with the twin cracks and the exposure on the detached flake. The "finger crack" on the start of the 3rd pitch was short and bouldery leading to endless slabs! Don't get deceived by the "3" pitches. There's another pitch or so of slab before you can put on your sneakers to scoot up to the summit.

This was quite a fun adventure with my first time simul-climbing in three climbers — when Chris (ballsy as always) did a 70m long pitch with stretches of 15m run outs. The first pitch is certainly the best part, with a unique combination of underclings, jamming and slab! The rest of the route is just a cruisy mental game due to poor protection and onion-like 2 billion year old granite.

First pitch is the money. After that the quality deteriorates with every pitch to the point where you start contemplating the songs you want played at your funeral. Got lost somewhere and linked a couple of pitches with simul-climbing tactics. Swung leads with Bruno, who performed awesomely An adventure!
