Ascents of Meter Maids

Should have maybe taken a rest day today, still good to get on it and figure some moves out. absolutely exhausted.

3rd shot. Fall at the end of the crux. Next time.

Finally went. The first crimp is my favorite on the route. Pockets galore too! Top is very cruizy.

had a go, fell same spot and decided couldn't do it that way. started playing, got frustrated then figured out a good left dropknee. did it like 5 times successfully off the rope.

Fail. Fell early, had the jitters for some reason. pressuring myself to do it before knee op.

Pretty tired, went with no pressure just to get the draws off. started well, foot slipped, had one 30 sec sit then to the top clean. good!

Decided to have a go after the send of Green Room, as Andy was trying it, I thought I might as well too. Easy climbing before and after the 5 move or so boulder problem, which ends with probably the best deadpoint move I've done! Surprisingly, got it down to one hang on my second shot (actually it looked like it was gonna go!)! After 8 climbs today, the third and last shot I felt a loss in power and decided to call it a day. Looking forward to it!

had a go, got to the crimp solidly with new dropknee beta, but fell unravelling! kinda pushed me off. got back on and realised I can hit the good hold while still in that position.

got to the good RH hold solidly, feet slipped off the wall but I stayed on for 2 seconds trying to regather- but didn't. Stoked on two high points in a day.

First time on this. Most of the moves were no problem, until the last sequence before the throw for the clipping hold after the crux section. Once i worked my beta, it wasn't seeming too hard. Really fun!

Feeling fairly confident, i gave it a red hot go! Moved a foot too early and peeled off the crimp, just before the clipping jug, spewin!

Gave it one more crack and had to clean it. Got about halfway through the hard stuff and realised the fingers were done for the day. Coming back for this thursday!

Another 3 shots today. Got rained out and couldn't try anymore. Got in thinking this was more of a 25 until I tried to link the two big moves... Very hard indeed, could be V5=26 IMO. Want to try it some more!

Tickasaurus, YESSSSS. This route was very hard for me, not my favourite style at all but I loved battling it.. Stokage maximus. hung on by my fingernails on the last hard move. The time off climbing did me good!

more at the grade than other climbs. powerful with serious footwork necessary. some frustrating rope issues. need to be better rested to come back to this

Had a go at end of day. Fell in the crux, managed to sprain my wrist quite good....ouch...I'll be back

Finally! Felt more powerful over 6 months later! Started off saying that I´d probably send it second shot, I ended up sending this on my third day on it... Really cool boulder sequence, an awesome climb
