Ascents of Shinkansen having Beta

Epic line! So bloody long and pumpy. Love the gaston at the start!

Very fun problem.

Easily my all time fave problem. Found the most improbable but bomber no hands rest ever, too Went for the retick, but ran out of gas like 4 times on the top out.

So satisfying to finally send this tricky little number.

Hardest boulder to date. Somehow held it together for the send.

7 attempts over a few sessions

Felt this was a bit softer than that P named German sounding one to its left that also get V6 both long and same 2nd section. But felt the initial cut loose on the other was harder. But perhaps this just played more to my strengths! Great climb though regardless.

I flashed but I had done the other 6, just as good, perhaps a little easier?

This fun burly climb took me 4-5 shots. The crux is super burly

Fell at the lip on the flash go, gutted. First part is actually so good its unbelievable.

Feels great to tick off the first V6 I'd ever seen anyone climb!

Stellar climb. The top-out is more satisfying than Shinkansof and I'd dare say easier as well.

Finally got this compression monster of a climb! Got this on my 4th attempt for the night. Worked it all night until ... bam! I was at the top out, de-pumping myself!

Managed to link from the start to the big shelf, then didn't really know what to do... Need to go again and suss out the beta. Incredibly long gaston move at the start, actually feel good I at least got that!

The start nailed me, but I work on from the ledge onwards. At the moment, it looks like a big cutloose after the compression moves is the way to go. Awesome route

Got all the moves down into 2 parts with Billy Boy. Keen to get back on it!

Had a very quick look at the start. Really awesome moves. I can see myself putting some time into this.

Figured out how to do the start, it'll be tough piecing it all together though.

Linked all the moves up to a diff knee bar I found, before V1 top. Send it fresh! Coolest moves I've done to date.

So this is what it takes to be a big boy. Did every move in isolation but linking is a ways off. Need to work out toe hook positioning for crux cut section.

Epic!!! So so good! Spent ages working out the beta, but was just too tired at the end of the day to make it through the mantle. Will go next time, and i'm assuming pendeltag will soon after
