Ascents in South East by Jake having boulder-cpr or ascent-date

Every other time I've considered trying this over the years I quickly realised it was well out of my league. So am happy to have made quick work of it this time round. High tension shouldery moves get a big 👍 from me.

Turns out unknowingly working the V8 extension last session made going feet first feel easy. Absolute beauty of a line, happy with this one. Extension next?

Quick repeat before the rain. Finally did the toehook start. Climbs much nicer than the big throw.

Dry fired left crimp and slipped off the polished toe hooks a couple of times. This cave gave me a bit of an ass kicking.

This thing feels pretty gnarly to me. Exposing my fraudulent heel hooks and hesitance with punchy moves. Couldnt quite get the link, but got a decent right arm and hammy workout.

Blew the flash because I got spooked by the top out. Then repeatedly punted the middle until finally getting the send. Beautiful line with a bit of a committing top, but the fall isn't as bad as it seems.

Took 3 sessions, first of the grade. Psyched.

Rock in cave a little sus. Mantle is nice.

Landing is a bit spooky, but an absolute beauty of a line

Quite nice and under-appreciated judging by the amount of dirt on it. Solid at the grade.

Underrated. Funky movement. Like the other V3, felt pretty solid at the grade.

Mantle was indeed desperate. Another one that stumped me for multiple sessions years ago. Disappointingly, no longer needed to dyno and didn't even cut loose.

Great line.

Don't know how I haven't climbed this until now. Nice little problem.

Have now done in two parts! I hit the small crimp slightly wrong on my best go and couldn't set up for the crux move, but felt like I had a lot of power left. When I'm fresh?

2nd try after freaking out at a damp top hold on flash attempt. Did it with no pads or spotters to add some spice. Lovely climb.

Great little problem

Countless burns, countless punts off the last move. Feels fine in isolation, but climbing into it I never had the body tension to keep toe on nor hold the swing. Maybe in two more years I'll finally tick this nemesis.

Very enjoyable problem.

Got a tad spooked and almost dropped to the mats instead of committing to the top move. Glad I didn't. Quite enjoyable.
