We only did pitch 1 as a warmup.

Fantastic climbing and pretty dam solid for the grade. Especially when you don’t know where your going.

Training/assessment climb.

P1 - Gary - scramble/easy climbing to bolted belay

P2 - Dave - step up and then traverse right avoiding the death blocks above following the (sometimes out of view jugs) to DBB. Few loose rocks on this pitch. Reasonable gear.

P3 - Marhall - ended up on a variant - original route heads up and right - lead through left. To DBB belay on ledge with cave on left facing cliff.

-Variant 18 from this belay through obvious steep crack to top of cave

P4 - Gary - crawl through cave then immediatedly right after exiting cave - belay on top of cave then move belay to adjacent tree for next pitch

P5 - Dave - up initial bulge in front of tree with reasonable gear, then fun climbing. Event with doubles and long slings rope drag sucked. Belay on ledge with lone pine, below and left of prominent horn.

P6 - Marshall right then up from the belay through obvious weakness in the steep wall, the back left above horn and upwards to the summit. Belay from bolders/tree at top.

Return to start by scrambling up and left from the belay, keeping the uphill summit on your right, stepping across saddle to find chains behind large bush - rap ~40meters to massive ledge, scramble/via ferrata to rap station.

Bit of challenging route finding, some placements needed a bit of gardening. Bolts look in reasonable condition.

I broke a hold and took a winger so - hopefully the rock is better now. Great climbing, second bolt on the steep bit is reachy to clip.

Good climbing after the manky slab at start, but suffers from dubious rock.

Great climb for beginners! Fun, easy climbing to access more routes. (logging old ascents) - is this really 56m or am I reading the pitches incorrectly?

Awesome steep juggy climbing in a pretty amazing position. I made this way more difficult than it should of been.

Great exposure and really cool climbing. I think this is more like 22.

P1 only to access ledge. In approach shoes. Good climbing for the grade.

Lead Pitch 1 and 3. Dogged pitch 3, its hard! Classic climbing though.

Awesome, tricky in parts, exposed. Great route, get on it.

Very tough for an 18, but loved the style of climbing, awesome line

Great climb. I guess its 18ish if you know where the holds are at the crux, otherwise its a lot harder!

3 of us got stuck on a reachy move on 2nd pitch, would grade it higher than 18

lead 2nd, 4th, and 5th pitch, steve did 1st, 3rd and 6th. 5 and 6 are gold. Thought i was going to die on pitch 2. Steve had a touh job on 3 aswell with a few hard, balancy moves above crap gear - note the grey zero was one of which. (maybe we were of track) EXPOSURE WAS AWESOME! (take sunscreen and long sleeve shirt due to summer)

great exposure, excellent rock and varied climbing

Pitch 4 Direct through steep crack (18), rather than crawl up and L under cave to gully/R wall (3). Pitch 1 (death block) and 2 (traverse) direct via Black Gold (18).
