Description

A small cliff along the approach to German Face.

Approach

Following the main approach trail as to "German Face" you will notice a small face about 10m off to the left of the trail. (If you reach the point where the toe of the cliff comes down almost to the trail, you're just past it.) There's not much of a trail up to the cliff -- but best seems to be heading left off the main trail a bit before where the bolts are, passing to the left of a largish boulder, then angling up and rightwards.

Descent notes

Currently (august 2023), there's rusty (but still solid) quick links on the anchor for "Colic".

Grade Route

Climb through the middle of the face up through a large scar to a 2-bolt anchor (just hangers). Traverse right to the "Colic" anchors to clean.

Climb straight through the three bolts. Route starts harder than it finishes. Careful of the loose wedge after the third bolt. No rappel anchors.

FA: N. O'Regan

Climb the obvious left-leaning crack on gear to the "Colic" anchor.

Gear is decent.
