Access issues inherited from Torres del Paine

You must pay a park entry fee, and, you must have a free climbing permit.

Important information: You have to apply for permission from the national park entity (CONAF). Frequently this permission is given in the main CONAF office of Torres del Paines National Park. Some documents and stuff requirements: life insurance (MANDATORY), VHF radios, some documents or certificates about your skills, and your trip plan inside the park (routes to climb). Please, this is just a reference.

The easiest route to climb to the top of Torre Norte. For the approach you have to take account the snow patches and ice. Could be necessary carry with you a pair of crampons and a ice axe.

Requirements by rack: 1 set of cams to 3" 6 - 10 stoppers
