Ascents in SASN Wand

Apparently not the hardest 9-, but I liked it a lot. High first bolt, but it's easy until there. Then I picked the wrong direction at the second bolt. The real difficulty are the moves after the final bulge, though.

Last route of the day, gave everything and succeeded. I particularly like the move in the roof, where my solution was to hook in a shallow dimple and put my right foot to the horn with the sidepull.

Sensibly bolted, cool jugs.

Just a single crux.

A bit more difficult than its right neighbour, more hard moves in my opinion.

Nice juggy overhang with good grip, perfectly bolted. For me, the crack in the end was the crux.

Cool one! Overhanging and pumpy on big holds, then a tricky corner. One hang in the pumpy part.

The style made this surprisingly hard for me, especially after seeing Ellen cruise through it so effortlessly. I almost fell! 😄

2nd go

Dangerously high second bolt, if the belayer is only a little bit inattentive, you're hitting the ground if you fall … easier above the second bolt.

One tricky part in the traverse – especially if you have long legs I guess.
