Large and very well developed crag in beautiful surrounding, featuring some of Germany's hardest routes and boulders. For many Kochel is a love-hate relationship: long approach, bad rock, hard grades and even harder routes. Definetly not a new-school location, but if you fall in love, Kochel will offer you everything you need. A playground especially for those mastering grade 9 and above.
Takes 45mins to walk from the Kochel train station to 'Wiesenwand' and another 45mins to 'Atlantis wand'. Alternatively, there is also a bus that stops next to 'Wiesenwand' (bus stop: Altjoch) roughly every two hours during the day.
For most sectors, please park your car at the powerplant.
Two campsites at the Kochelsee.
