Ascents in Guatemala having Beta

long term project for me. currently working to be able to get to the 7th bolt without stoping. The crux is right after the 7th bolt.

second ascent

First try on a loooong time (since 2009) never passed the crux before

Third try

was trying to red point Dumbo, but fell up there at the crux (after mocodirect anchors) and abandoned.

Second try overall, first in a long time, since around 2009. This is my first time that I got to the top (last time got to third bolt)

led "manos arriba" and set up the top for Corrosión. coming back!

our rope got stuck when clenaing it and I got to redpoint this beauty afgain to retrieve our rope (good we carry always two ropes with us)

The more I climb this route the more I get to appreciate its beautiful flow and delicate moves it requires to be able to send it without great effort. The “crimpy” adjective starts to feel more inaccurate.

Climbed both (Baygon) on one shot. Rope starts getting heavy; too much drag.

Did the left variation to the top. It feels a little bit easier than the regular (right).

very important crimp on the crux move, broke. BEta changed a bit.

Many pieces have broken. Fell at and before the crux.

Very nice climb. High quality rock. Some loose blocks to be cleaned up but with some traffic it will be a perfect climb. The little corridor reminds me of Skaha. Nice to feel at home with friends. Another beautiful climbing day. Cheers.

What a route and great day out with friends! Beautiful wall, sustained climbing and a boulder crux. Would get an extra star if it wasn't for some loose stuff and a chossy top. Overall took three tries but was a super fight to top it!!

Nice warmup and even nicer moves in the crack.

Nice route with good flow through most of the bolts. However the last couple seem pointless and the anchor will twist your rope. Best to descend from the steel biner under the roof.

Cool climbing up a beautiful volcanic basalt face.

Nice climbing on small but positive holds up a beautiful wall. Doesn't get much better.
