Dogged again, felt wrecked after working Salty Dog and the moves felt very inelegant this timme. Then somehow after my partner top roped it, the pigtails jammed in the anchor (so that 190kg of hanging weight was insufficient to get the rope end up) and then had to aid up it in the darkness. Fml

Very cool moves. Worked each of the boulder problems several times and they improved so much. Realised just before the anchors on the slightly sketchy top out I wanted to save my energy for Blue Fin/give other climbers a go and left it. Fantastic route if I had more time though.

It would be a great, varied route if it wasn't for the finish. Unless I really missed something, it would be better if the anchor was lower, to be clipped from the block on the left.

Terrific route. Bit rude for a warmup but ive never been a heavy subscriber for warmups (watch me regret that comment in 4 years time). Looks like a power endurance pumper from the ground but ends up a balancy, barndoory mental pumper, a little like tannin at araps with the wall stemming and flat crimps. Feels about 24 or hard 23. Really stoked with my own climbing on this and great little sesh with aaron and freddie. Learning new terminology like 'beloggles' (belay goggles) and new sports (silks over at finca).

A much better and consistent line than its neighbour The Sword, with a shorter or non-existent line. No crux. Just non-stop 11+ movement on an invisible seam. Battled on this one in the dark, post sunset. I'll be back to attempt the red point with better timing!

Me subí a ver si se podría conectar desde el piso hasta la segunda reunión, pero está muy largo y la ruta se va haciendo hacia la derecha. Me bajé de un mosquetón que ahí está a la mitad de la ruta y pude llegar a la repisa de abajo donde está la primera reunión con una cuerda de 70 metros.

I didnt go till anchor because i was tired. But i was so suprize . It is super nice route . Hard tricky moves 4 bolts. Bolts are far but clip postions are good. I dont know how is last bolt and anchor. But rest of it super nice .

Nos bajamos del sexto largo tras varios intentos (con caídas cerca de la R) por parte de ambos. Pensamos que algún agarre clave se había roto; con un gamber-stick habríamos pasado. Se me hace raro que el largo crux, actualmente siga considerándose 12a; diría que al menos 12+. Fue un lio bajar desde ese punto con una cuerda de 60 m. ¡La vía es muy estética!

Fell on one move, got kerflugalled...kinda pissed, oh well will go for the onsite on the 11 variation Shuttle Columbia blew up on re-entry at 8:30 am on this day...still have my job...I think...
