Routes in Middle East for selected grade

Düşen düşene Extension is a wonderful route that starts on huge jug rails and pulls over a bulge 5 meters off the ground. More steep climbing will get you to a ledge 10 meters up the wall. Continue past an intermediate anchor and step over a vegitated ledge to get on the upper slab. A second anchor is located beneath a small roof at the top of the good quality rock.

Starts on the huge ledge. Reachy first move.

Sit start from the white colored portion and go straight up. Alternatively, can use the right side of the bloc.

Climb the crack in between Crack for Cheese and Middle Finger.

"It depends" - if you start from right is 5b if you start from left is 5c. A couple of steep pulls gain easy ground.

Up the cack trending L and then R again. Past the questionable flake to ledge. @2, 10, 15m. Up and L. The corner to the summit

Mid to large size cams/friends

A short offwidth crack requiring some size 5 and 6 BD friends/cams

1. pitch approx. 150m (1-2): From south-east ascend on a reef towards the big terrace in easy terrain. At the terrace ascend further to the left in south-west direction.

2. pitch (2-3): From the terrace ascend approx. 20 meters towards a big tree on the left side of a prominent, 7 meter wide cave. A belay can be built at the tree.

3. pitch (2): From the tree traverse approx. 15 m to the left to a small tree at the ridge. Use the tree and the blocks to build a belay.

4. pitch (4): From the small tree ascend the structured wall approx. 35 meters zigzag, first to the left then to the right. During our first ascend there were two hornet nests in this wall section, about 3 meters beside the route. Use the bolt on the wall to build a belay.

5. pitch (2): From the bold traverse approx. 15 meters to the left, slightly ascending towards a big tree. Use the tree to build a belay.

6. pitch (6-): From the tree traverse some meters to the left and then ascend the wall beginning with a dihedral and passing a bolt. Build a belay on the bolt at the green step below a big crack.

7. pitch (6-): From the bolt traverse to the right behind the edge and than ascend a dihedral approx. 6 meters. Build a belay at the bolt on the lying wall.

8. pitch (5+): From the bold further ascend approx. 40 meters towards a big tree. Use the tree to build a belay.

9. pitch (2-3): From the tree traverse approx. 20 meters to the left passing two edges. Then ascend the steep wall until it becomes vertical. Build a belay at the bold in front of the wall.

10. pitch (5): From the bolt traverse approx. 10 meters to the right, then ascend the wall in a slight crack for approx. 40 meters. Build a belay at the bold on the wall.

11. pitch (4): From the bolt further ascend the wall, first slightly to the right, then straight towards the summit. Use suitable blocks to build a belay.

Bukalemun is a 15 meter jug haul up steep terrain. Start by following a vertical crack next to a tree to a high first bolt. Climb over a steep section of rock even with the tree tops before the angle mellows out. Scramble to a anchor located in the bulge 15 meters above the ground or continue on the extension if you want more of a challenge.

Location Bukalemun is located 16 meters right of the prominent inside corner crack that marks the beginning of the sector. Begin 1 1/2 meters left of the first pine tree growing at the base of the cliff.

the route is located between Şerefe and Şaman sport routes. Not having bolted top anchor.

Çamardı is an okay traditional route that enjoys the shade of a large pine tree. Follow a nice crack that turns into an inside corner 7 meters off the ground. Trend left through delicate rock before getting into more solid terrain where the limestone turns gray. Hopefully, an anchor will be installed beyond this point but at the moment you will be forced to traverse left or right to one of the adjacent routes and lower down.

Location Çamardı is located directly in front of two large pine trees growing at the base of the cliff that marks the start of the sector.

Protection Traditional gear to 2", Traverse to a 2 bolt anchor

The route is located on the farthermost right of this sector, just behind a small pine tree. It is a wonderful route, especially for beginners.

Jane is a spectacular traditional route that follows a very featured crack that trends left for the first 10 meters of the route and passes two small ledges. The upper half of the climb follows an inside corner to the top of the dark rock. At the time of this entry, the anchor consisted of a tat thread through that left much to be desired. A better option is finishing at the two-bolt anchor at the top of Kuymak.

Location Jane is located 10 meters right from a large pine tree at the base of the cliff above the picnic area gazebos. Follow a prominent crack on this portion of the cliff.

Protection Gear to 2", 2 bolt anchor

Semazen is a short sport route that has been interestingly bolted. Start either left or right of the first hanger and climb a tricky sequence to the second clip. Continue up a nice fin before moving right onto enjoyable pockets and knobs. The anchor is clearly visible from the ground.

Location Semazen is located on the upper left side of the crag above the gazebos. You will be climbing bolts directly underneath the left of to falcon heads that stick out from the top of the wall if you use a little imagination.

Protection 6 bolts, 2 bolt anchor

An entertaining vertical traditional route that has rather good hands and feet, beautifully sustained crack that gives you an opportunity for a broad of gear placement. Corner walls that come at an angle of 90 degrees to each other, it is possible to rise easily by pressing the feet. At the top of the right wall, there is good protection with 2 bolt anchors.

Scorpio is a mediocre traditional climb that enjoys a handful of good sequences but overall is a bit to vegetated to become a classic. Start by scrambling a up low angled dirty face to reach the crack. Follow this feature to the right of a medium-sized roof and then trend left on easy terrain to a 2 bolt anchor 30 meters off the ground.

Scorpio is a mediocre traditional climb that enjoys a handful of good sequences but overall is a bit to vegetated to become a classic. Start by scrambling a up low angled dirty face to reach the crack. Follow this feature to the right of a medium-sized roof and then trend left on easy terrain to a 2 bolt anchor 30 meters off the ground.

Şaman is a fun, short route that follows large holds up a line of bolts on a light colored streak of rock. The hand holds run thin just below the anchor that is located 3 meters right of a pine tree halfway up the cliff face.

Üç Bant follows a nice inside corner crack system for 10 meters before utilizing some nice features on your left to protect the small roof. Continue past a ledge and one final bulge sequence before arriving at the anchor.
