description

Scenic boulder spot at northwestern fringe of Tafraoute. The boulders and rock look great from afar. However, the granite consists of sharp crystals and tends to flake off. The area is somewhat littered. Having seen the many empty glue tubes, I would not want to come here after dark. The area offers for colour-coded boulder circuits (white: Kids', green: very easy, blue: easy, red: intermediate) with ~ 20 problems each.

approach

At the northwestern edge of the town, pass "Camping Les trois Palmiers" on the north side and continue northeast until you see an area surrounded by a wall (cemetery). The boulders are visible behind it.
