A good acclimatization peak. Most trekkers visit the lower peak for dawn, then return for breakfast in the village and descend lower down the valley. |

Baden Powell Peak
The peak was renamed in honour of Baden Powell, the founder of the scouts on the centenary of its founding. |
Baden Powell Peak |
Normal Route
The Nepal government have designated this a special peak, royalty free. But you still need a TIMS and Langtang pass. |
Tsergo Peak
Not to be confused with Tsergo Ri. Tsergo Peak is the higher point on the ridge crest of Yala Peak. |
Tsergo Peak |
Normal Route
Under 5,800m so no trekking peak permit required, but you still need a TIMS and a Langtang pass. |
Langtang Valley Ice Climbing
"The Lang Tang valley is a large glacial valley just north of Kathmandu. The valley runs roughly east-west and is flanked by the massive south wall of Lang Tang I and other peaks of the area. During the winter the Valley forms many ice falls of various habit up and down the valley. During the winter of 2004 myself and a group of British and Australian climbers made several first ascents of ice falls in the valley." (source) |

Jongen Dhunga
An obvious grey rock outcop you aleady see from far below when you go from Golphu Bhanjyang to Kutumsang. Perfect clean solid rock! The "Normal Route" is frequently soloed by locals, but be aware that a fall would be devastating and there is no mountain rescue nowhere... Great rock, potential for many more toprope/trad/sport routes IF you bring climbing stuff there |

★★★ Normal Route
Frequently soloed by locals. Great solid clean rock! Crux is the first few meters, the rest is easy 4b. But be aware that a fall would be devastating and there is no mountain rescue nowhere... Downclimb necessary, think of this before! |
More Routes Possible
Around the rock are more toprope/trad/spor routes possible. The western slabs would be some great 5ish routes, east side 6ish, south side hard. |
Southern Nuckle Slab
On the southern slab are also 15m routes on nice rock nuckles possible, bring a brush for the first meters. |
Kyanjin Gompa
Climber on a trekking route? Bring your shoes with you and you can touch some good sunny granite with grassy landings on your restday! Breathtaking landscape, double breathtaking at an altitude of 3.800m. For the harder lines a spotter and maybe a crashpad are useful. It's a teahouse trek, you don't need anything except your teethbrush There is not much documentation (yet). A nobody climbed a few easy lines with hiking boots and documented the obvious lines with good grassy landings. Go for the FA! (And please add your info here, thx!) |

7218m and considered very technical & difficult. The tallest peak in the national park. Has been rarely attempted since 2015, after the loss of many lives in the earthquake which destroyed the entire of “Lantang old Town”. |
