Ascents in Gorse Wall having Beta

The route is still very dirty from last year's landslide which makes it much harder than the original grade. We tried to clean it up a bit, but it needs a good brass brush to remove the dry mud lumps.

Warm up. Great route

Quite fun, pumpy, and technical moves through the overhang. Anchor is hard to find.

Hard start around the first bolt then fun and run-out finish

Hard moves before and just at the second bolt, easing off significantly afterward

Really fun warm up. There's currently a lot of debris from a land slide

An excellent, sustained climb at the grade

Tricky moves over the overhang at the bottom

Very steep so I found getting over the lip quite hard, but wasn't too bad once I'd worked out the moves.

Crux felt easier than the 17 to the right

A bit sandbagged for 17 imo, crux is quite powerful for the grade.

Failed to lead then change to top rope
