Short and bouldery unlike most other routes here. Make sure you go up directly through the crux to get the full minging experience.

Easily one of the best routes in Queenstown. Double toe hooking, flying heel hook, the Rose, knee bars, sustained face climbing, semi-spicy run outs. This route really has it all. Unfortunately some key holds were soaking wet today.

Easily one of the worst routes in Queenstown. Maybe not, but the face (choss pile) really shouldn't be bolted. It adds a ton of rope damage and ZERO value to the route. Put an anchor at the lip and it's a fantastic climb.

Really should have onsighted this one, should have charged on and put the draw and clip in from the next hold (jug rather than a crimp). Broke a foothold. Only "good" as the face is easy and dirty, the boulder however was very good (through the roof).

Tried this about a year ago and couldn't quite get the crux, the whole climb felt much easier. Could only get one try as had to leave but will definitely try it again next time

Great climb well bolted, fun runouts safe whips, will take a while to get the beta down to climb it fast enough to not get too pumped and flow. highly recommend

First pitch in the chimney is brilliant, dusty and dirty but worth it, crux at the top when you exit the chimney. Second pitch is nothing special, just a way to get to the top

So...I actually got lost on this route. Apparently I'm not the only person to ever do so which kind of makes me feel slightly better. I clipped the first 3 or four bolts on a rising traverse and went around the corner (out of sound and sight of belayer) and found myself on a grassy ledge in front of a featured wall. In my mind I imagined that the rising traverse continued so continued up the featured wall looking for the next bolt - up and up and up. Free solo not being my forte it was rather scary for me. I slung a pathetic looking bush continued further up into mossy terrain then very carefully down climbed. I now understand from the guidebook and feedback from Queenstown Climbing Club Facebook Group that I should have walked along the grassy ledge. I presume the next bolt is hidden in the greenery somewhere. There is no fixed hardware anywhere up where I climbed in error. I left a couple of nice slings and biners around a bush up there if anyone is keen for booty.
