Ascents in West Face having Beta

Moonboarders rejoice! Basically a 3 bolt boulder problem with some intro and outro climbing - but what a great problem. Super cool sequence on crimps plus a pocket, gaston and sidepull. Don't think I would have onsighted without the chalk - a couple of crucial holds would be easy to miss.

Fun crimp moves,jumped on for a laugh and was surprised when I made most of the moves. Fell early on second attempt - but didn't feel like working it again so climbed to the top.

Not sure what is the original route design. Cannot find a way to climb on the main face, have to climb on the right face.

Warm up and warm down, the only route climbed today. Better than nothing!

Went second go, really fun route. Maybe a little bit soft or maybe I'm just getting stronger 😂, worth the slippery approach!

The topo route is in the wrong location. Nice climb, wicked view out to hospital flat and Paddock Bay at top.

Beautiful view from the top around sunset time. Easy, but fun

Got to the last hard move on my flash burn. Andrew had given me all the beta. Clipped 6 of the 8 bolts and just got confused by an errant tick for the crossover which would have taken me into the easier ground. Still happy with a solid high point and the rest of the moves were pretty easy. Hope I can remember this when I come back next time.

Started climbing it without a guide book and then realised how much harder it was than originally intended . Pretty hard for me unfortunately but still tried a load of the moves out. Bit dirty at the top

True classic 18. Considerable runouts

Crimpy and slopery above the overhang

Link up/switch to wrong bolt line half way up with h butt crack wedgy

rusty bolts, be cautious. anchor is solid though

This route is completely bolted and the start felt very sand bagged.

Thought this one deserved stars, the best line on this wall in my opinion. Consistent thin, ergonomic edges.

Some really nice holds and thin climbing through the crux. Failed onsight attempt. Got it next shot. This area is a really cool small grotto that would be good for hot days.

Great climbing, deceptively tough start into good face climbing until bold feeling moves out around corner, returning to slightly easier face climb to top. Feels stout for 18 grade but very satisfying!

Tricky 18. Slab and smear, then swing out onto the bulge and up up up.
